Recently, restorers came across an intriguing discovery – a mug with its bottom missing. Upon inspection, another compartment was found beneath, containing a ring and chain.

Experts investigated and confirmed the items were crafted in Poland. Museum staff were astonished by the find.

Upon arrival at the camp, Jews had their valuables confiscated, yet an ordinary mug went unnoticed. People clung to hope, unaware of what lay ahead.
