The good-natured animal rescuer Donna Lochmann was informed that there was a pit bull family in an overgrown backyard and they needed help. The experienced woman knew that a difficult rescue process waited for her as there were tiny puppies and their scared mother who wanted to protect them. So she had to act patiently and strategically. She spotted the sweet babies hiding in the yard and their mom who was watching over them with great attention and fear. And Donna knew she had to take their mother the first.

The woman started to lure the mom with some food and after a while she gently came close and was taken safely to the car. Then Donna began to search for the little puppies who ahd run away seeing her. And it was more difficult to pick them all one by one. So she was patient and firm to help them and did everything possible to take them. So after some efforts she finally managed to pick them to the car and transport the whole family to the shelter.

Donutfest (Donna named the mother dog) and her 4 babies were now saved and protected. They passed their veterinary screenings and went to their foster homes to be under good care and attention. And after posting their lovely pics on the Internet, they received many requests of adoption. It is evident that they are happy and contented as they get all the love and care they need.

Donutfest also is smiling from happiness and joy as she knows that her babies are protected and healthy. She will also find her forever home and caring family soon. And she is deeply grateful to their savior who did her best to provide them for a better life.
