As a Brazilian police officer was about to leave the residence, a little mongrel digging through the trash nearly knocked him over.

He thought: “The usual thing, I’m looking for something to chew on!” and continued his work.

He was shocked to see the same neighbor’s dog when he got home. Now, however, she was cradling something in her mouth that didn’t look like food at all.

Looking closely, the man saw that the dog found a live puppy in the container!

The baby dangled limply in the lips of the newly-made mother, uncertainly waving its tail.

The man then called Marco Antonio Rodriguez, one of his closest aides.

The dog that rescued him started crying and begging people not to take the discovered baby away from her when a man approached and tried to take the baby away.

It was decided that they would stay together until the puppy found a new home.

In the meantime, he needed to be fed. And Marco took to Facebook to ask anyone who has dogs nurturing their homes to provide temporary shelter for the pup when he gets stronger.

Thus, the infant was soon discovered by the second “milk” mother, who, without hesitation, put him to the breast.

Now the baby is developing and feeling great!
