The lovely rescuer of Stray Rescue of St. Louis Donna Lochmann received a call and was informed that there was an abandoned dog in the street. And she had nothing to do but rush and give a helping hand to the poor animal. Her family had moved from their house and left her there alone.

Donna found her in front of the house feeling sorrowful and helpless. But the woman noticed that she was not alone there. There were two little babies who seemed 6-8 weeks old. The rescuer could take mama dog easily, but it was more difficult to lure the children. They were hidden in a deep hole in another side of the fence. But Donna finally managed to take the frightened puppies as well.

She brought the dog family to the vet where they were checked, and fortunately they were all healthy. So they soon appeared in foster families. The babies were placed into the same house where they got love and warmth. Though they were still scared and confused, the family members and other pets in the house were a great support for them.

The mother dog was housed in other place where she was surrounded with huge affection and respect. The rescue staff who had been caring for them and the good-natured woman were so happy and glad that they were protected and rested. They hoped that they would find their forever homes.
