The photo is of an abandoned kangaroo, Doodlebug cuddling with his teddy, a gift from his former mom. Lately, this photo has been viral on the internet.

The area of shooting was Wales. However, the photo appeared in Brazil, Australia and even Russia.

The photographer discovered that the animals are attracted to toys and get excited in their presence as a child. This toy was the only companion that the kangaroo had.

Either his mother had died, or he may have escaped from her pouch. He was just a few months old when he was delivered to a wildlife company. The little kangaroo has since returned to the wild after fully recovering from the dire circumstances.

Later, she revived it, and as you can see in the photo, it is now hopping throughout the forest and occasionally returning for a feed or a cuddle.
