Story of the Crimean dog that lost his family during the war
The story of the Crimean dog which perished together with its family in the Dnieper onslaught.
The Ukrainian city of Dnipro was struck by three Russian rockets at the end of September. Additionally, civil infrastructure was bombed. Damage was done to the auto transport business and the neighboring homes.
Krym the dog was one of the incident’s icons. Pictures of the animal were circulated all over the world. All Ukrainians who observed this and are still able to cry shed tears as they look across Crimea, which is mourning its deceased owners.
The battling dog was first spotted by neighbors. The residence of Kryma’s family was struck by the Russian missile, which nearly brought it to the ground. Vasilisa and Ivan, as well as their mothers Natalya and Alla, passed away. The small dog named Jack also vanished. Only Krym remained on the house’s rubble before wistfully walking away.
Natalya made the decision to relocate with her mother when her husband left to serve in the military on behalf of the nation. The woman probably concluded that the private sector would make her feel safer. Unfortunately, this choice was incorrect because Russian rockets may travel everywhere.
The artist Anton Khodyakin drew the image of Crimea after seeing it. It has a dog sitting on it, encircled by the spirits of its deceased owners. Krym, who was given that name 12 years ago after the city where he was born, is today well-known all over the world.
How is the dog now living?
Crimea, according to the veterinarian who looks after him, has heart failure and a concussion. He felt terrible fear. Although there were numerous offers, the dog’s owner is still alive and fighting for the independence of his nation, thus they are not seeking for a new owner.
The Dnipro municipal government reports that in addition to Ukrainians, people from Belgium, Israel, Germany, and the United Kingdom also want to possess our four-legged hero.
Sadly, Crimea serves as a metaphor for what millions of Ukrainians are going through right now. We are in excruciating discomfort. Most significantly, we persevere through the struggle. Nobody or anything will be able to stifle our spirit of independence!
