“She Left Her Family To Build A Music Career In Another Country”: Thanks To Her Hard Work She Managed To Become A Famous Guiness Record Holder!
A young girl moved from London to Kosovo with her parents at eleven. At fourteen, feeling she couldn’t pursue her dreams there, she left her family to pursue her ambitions. Despite the challenges, she succeeded and even set Guinness World Records.
Born into a large Albanian family, her parents fled war in the 90s. Her grandfather lost his job for refusing to rewrite history during the conflict. Moving to London, her parents faced hardships but worked hard to rebuild their lives.
Growing up, she felt embarrassed by her name and her parents’ appearance. Determined to pursue stardom, she convinced her parents to let her return to London for her education. She attended theater school and began recording music, eventually finding success.
Her love for music began early, and she dreamed of becoming a star. Despite setbacks, she persevered, eventually returning to Kosovo to launch the Sunny Hill Festival. Her siblings also followed creative paths, making her proud of her family’s resilience.
Challenged by societal expectations, she learned to prioritize her own happiness and career before relationships.
Now known as Dua Lipa, she’s achieved global fame, breaking records and earning accolades for her music. Despite her success, she remains humble and grateful for her journey.
