Meg Ryan’s decision to leave Hollywood was driven by her desire to fully embrace motherhood. Today, she looks back with satisfaction on the two young adults she has raised. In 2006, Meg’s life took a new direction when she adopted her daughter, Daisy True Ryan, from an orphanage in China. Adoption had always been a desire for Meg, and she viewed it as a meaningful and thoughtful choice. She still vividly remembers the emotional first meeting in Shanghai.
