“It Was a Terrible Stress”: Kristin Davis Cried Over Criticism Of Her Appearance After Using Fillers!
Actress Kristin Davis opened up in an interview about the criticism she faced for using fillers to enhance her appearance. She shared that while some procedures were successful, others didn’t go as planned, leading her to dissolve and remove the fillers.
The public’s harsh ridicule deeply affected her, even causing her to cry and experience tremendous stress.
Davis mentioned that people mainly criticized the shape of her lips, which she didn’t notice herself for a long time.
She expressed gratitude for her supportive friends who eventually pointed it out to her. She emphasized that it’s uncommon for anyone to smile at their reflection in the mirror, finding it strange to expect otherwise.
The actress also highlighted that her Sex and the City co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon, faced similar criticism, especially since they decided to reunite for the continuation of the beloved series.
Davis acknowledged the challenges of being compared to their younger selves and the pressure to maintain an exact appearance, noting the contradictory expectations of the internet.
She shared that she’s learning to take criticism less personally and not let it affect her as much. Davis mentioned that she trusts her doctor’s expertise and finds it unfair when people attack her as if she personally made decisions about her appearance.
In related news, the second season of the series “And Just Like That,” the continuation of “Sex and the City,” is set to premiere at the end of June.
Surprisingly, Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha, will make an appearance in one of the episodes, despite previously stating that she would never return to the project.
