I Turned an Old Gas Stove into a Useful Item for the Summer House: Here’s the Result!

Someone threw out their old gas stove at the dump, but I decided to pick it up. At home, I cut off the top hob part, and then cut a rectangular hole in the oven. As a result, I got a very interesting and useful thing for the dacha. Anyone can do this.

Recently, my friends and I came across an old gas stove that someone had simply thrown away at the dump. Obviously, it was no longer working, but instead of passing by, we wondered: what if it could still be useful? The decision came quickly – we took the stove with us, anticipating interesting work. At home, we examined it and began the alteration.

First, we cut off the top hob part, and then cut a rectangular hole in the oven for smoke extraction. That’s where all the modifications ended – it would seem, a minimum of changes, but the result pleasantly surprised us. As it turned out, this device perfectly copes with its new tasks.

Water boils much faster than on a regular fire, and the design allows you to conveniently place various containers. In addition, the stove turned out to be an excellent grill – the meat on it is fried just fine!

So, instead of useless junk, we now have a convenient and efficient device for outdoor recreation. Old things can sometimes be much more useful than they seem at first glance.
