How Do People Live In the Icelandic Outback: Rare Photos Of a House Inside!
Situated 20 miles from Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital, lies a quaint wooden house.
Its owner, a young woman, purchased it years ago to escape the city’s hustle and bustle.
Her dream was always to reside in a place of peace and serenity.
The woman cherishes nature and an active lifestyle, finding urban settings too distracting. In her home, she’s found everything she desired: tranquility, peace, and comfort.
Externally, the house is painted black, a traditional color for Icelandic homes that shields them from the harsh climate (previously, all homes were tar-coated). Inside, dark hues adorn the interiors, fostering a cozy and relaxing ambiance.
The house layout follows a classic design, with the kitchen-living area occupying the majority of the space.
