“From Cute Puppy to Unexpected Surprise”: What Happened a Year Later
A young woman dreamed of having a Spitz dog—specifically a white, female one. Being inexperienced with dogs, she dove into internet research. After familiarizing herself with the breed’s characteristics and appearance, she went to the market and bought an adorable white puppy.
The new owner was thrilled, but the little dog quickly became a source of confusion. The pup refused to obey and snapped back. The woman attributed this behavior to the dog’s young age. However, as the Spitz grew older, it became increasingly clear that something was off—it didn’t seem like a Spitz at all!
With its sharp face, thick fur, and elongated tail, the dog was puzzling. While a Spitz is supposed to be fluffy and sharp-faced, this dog’s body structure was quite different. The woman loved her pet but faced significant difficulties.
During walks, the dog would fight with other dogs to the extent that it was impossible to let it off the leash. Its aggression towards strangers was constant, and training proved futile—the dog simply refused to listen.
The owner was horrified. She had grown attached to the pet but found socializing it very challenging. Additionally, the dog’s diet was entirely unsuitable.
After some thought, she decided to send the pet to a zoo. She believed that a zoo could provide the appropriate diet and socialization for the animal. Whether this decision was correct is debatable. People often keep more aggressive pets than a hand-tamed fox, but our heroine was not inclined to handle such issues.
