We all have an image of flamingos in our minds—grand, graceful birds with an uncanny sense of balance. However, baby flamingos are relatively awkward despite their regal appearance. Even though it is only four days old, this young child is trying to act like an adult.

The adorable little bird was captured on camera trying so hard to be an adult, but it turns out that job is very difficult. Despite the adorable young flamingo’s failure to achieve its objective, the internet rewards it with worldwide recognition.

The baby flamingo, a permanent resident at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh, was seen on camera as it attempted to stand on one leg as the adults do. The cute little thing fails heartbreakingly because this technique is much trickier than it appears to be. However, it instead warns millions of heart.

The National Aviary posted the gorgeous photo of the newborn flamingo on Facebook, which caused it to become viral. The caption reads National Aviary employees and visitors can’t stop ooh’ing and ahhh’ing over this little one!
