Rare photos of the Duchess of Sussex in childhood and adolescence
About a year ago, the father of the Duchess of Sussex, Thomas Markle, published Meghan’s childhood photos from the family album.
The man said that he spent “the happiest years of his life” with his daughter and he is very sorry that now they practically do not communicate.
British TV channel Channel 5 released a documentary called “Thomas Markle: My Story”. Where previously unpublished pictures of Megan were shown.
“When she (Meghan – ed.) was born, I was the happiest person on Earth. They handed her to me, then her little fingers wrapped around mine and that was it, I was in love. I just knew she would be special,” said Thomas Markle. Thomas also showed rare photos of Meghan when she was 11 to 16.
The Duchess’s father said he was devastated to miss his daughter’s wedding to Prince Harry as he was recovering from surgery during that period.
“My daughter looked beautiful. I wish I could be there with her. Of course, I was grateful to Charles,” said Thomas referring Prince of Wales leading Megan to the altar on her wedding day.
