Oscar-Nominated Star Set to Reunite with Ex for Their Daughter’s Wedding in Spain!: Can You Guess Who?

Melanie Griffith was recently spotted running errands in Beverly Hills, looking effortlessly stylish and fit. The 68-year-old actress, daughter of legendary actress Tippi Hedren, wore a long-sleeve white top paired with dark jeans. Her signature blonde hair was styled in a tousled bob, and she completed the casual ensemble with designer sunglasses and a touch of lip gloss, proving that age hasn’t slowed her down.

The veteran star is preparing for a special family event: her daughter Stella’s upcoming wedding in Spain. Griffith will reunite with her ex-husband, actor Antonio Banderas, who expressed pride in Stella’s decision to marry in his hometown of Málaga. Banderas shared that seeing his daughter “dressed as a bride will be one of the most beautiful moments” of his life. Stella, 28, is set to wed Alex Gruszynski in an intimate ceremony that will also serve as a way for her to reconnect with her roots.

Griffith and Banderas first met on the set of the 1995 film Two Much and were married for 18 years before divorcing in 2014. Despite the end of their marriage, the couple has remained on good terms. Griffith has four children in total: Dakota and stepson Jesse from her marriages to Don Johnson, son Alexander from her marriage to Steven Bauer, and Stella with Banderas, reflecting her blended Hollywood family.

In 2023, Griffith made a symbolic change to her body art, replacing her “Antonio” heart tattoo with a crossword-style design featuring the names of all four of her children. The new tattoo represents her dedication to her children and her life after divorce, signaling a chapter focused on family and personal growth rather than past relationships.

Even with a busy family life, Griffith continues to thrive in her career. The Golden Globe-winning actress and Oscar nominee for Working Girl remains active in the entertainment industry and currently narrates Amanda Kramer’s film By Design, which is scheduled to screen at the Nashville Film Festival. Her continued work demonstrates her lasting influence and versatility as an actress.
