After $700K of Surgery, “She” Is De-Transitioning Again!: See the Surprising Before & After

Oli London, a 35-year-old from the UK, made headlines for spending an estimated $700,000 on 32 plastic surgeries in an attempt to resemble a Korean pop star. His transformation journey began in 2013 after moving to South Korea, where he became fascinated by the flawless appearance of K-pop idols. Struggling with deep-rooted insecurities from childhood bullying, Oli underwent drastic facial modifications—including jaw, chin, and cheekbone shaving, as well as multiple eye surgeries—to achieve his vision of becoming “transracial.”

Although he eventually reached the K-pop aesthetic he admired and even launched a music career that garnered millions of views, the joy he found in each surgery was fleeting. The online backlash was severe, with hate messages and death threats that ironically pushed him toward more procedures in pursuit of perfection. In May 2022, still seeking identity and validation, Oli came out as transgender and underwent an additional 11 surgeries in one day to feminize his face, including a facelift, brow bone shaving, and hairline lowering.

Yet even after these efforts, true happiness eluded him. That same year, Oli experienced a spiritual awakening after converting to Christianity, which profoundly shifted his perspective. He came to the realization that he no longer needed to keep altering himself and decided to embrace the way he was made. Oli publicly announced his de-transition back to male, stopped undergoing surgeries, and began focusing on a more natural and masculine appearance by removing fillers and committing to physical fitness.

In the process of reversing many past changes, Oli has taken steps to align more closely with his current identity. This has included correcting earlier procedures like gynecomastia and nipple surgery, undergoing body fat removal, and getting a hair transplant to improve his appearance naturally. He recently had what he considers his “final” nose job, opting for a broader, more masculine shape that he now feels perfectly suits his features. He’s also decided to limit himself to non-surgical treatments from here on.

Now, with a renewed sense of purpose, Oli is preparing to relaunch his K-pop music career, but with a new outlook. He says he has finally become “the best version” of himself—not through surgery, but through acceptance. Having written a book titled Gender Madness, Oli shares his journey in hopes of helping others find self-love without relying on external approval. His story serves as a powerful example of the struggle for identity, the dangers of extreme modification, and the healing power of self-acceptance.
