From Outdated to Dream Home: This Apartment Renovation Will Amaze You!

magine an apartment where the spirit of history hovers. There is no place for modern furniture here, but there is a Soviet chandelier from the 80s and restored armchairs from the GDR from the 60s, luxurious chairs made once in Prague, which are more than 60 years old. The new owner of this retro-style apartment was a young girl who, together with a designer, changed the time-worn housing. Before the renovation, it was a dull three-room apartment with rotten parquet, faded wallpaper and peeling paint.

But, fortunately, the new owner decided to make a new renovation, preserving the old details. Now her home is filled with furniture from local manufacturers, vintage items, unique items created according to the designer’s sketches. “I put my soul into this project,” says the designer. “The interior turned out to be very atmospheric. And I’m glad that the apartment has wonderful owners.” Let’s take a virtual tour of this unique apartment!

The living room combines olive and salmon colors. Here are vintage Hera armchairs from the GDR from the 60s. There is a small work area. The kitchen is not combined with the living room. It has a wide opening, creating a “social effect”. It is equipped with dining chairs from Czechoslovakia from the 60s. The kitchen set is made to order in a carpentry workshop.

The bedroom is decorated in calm beige tones. It has an unusual bay window. It contains a spacious dressing room. The bathroom is decorated with tiles, like in the kitchen. It has a bathtub instead of a shower. Decorated with stylish accessories. The hallway is equipped with a spacious wardrobe for outerwear. This retro apartment is a real portal to the past. It fascinates with its atmosphere and reminds of the value of vintage things. How do you like this renovation? Share your impressions in the comments!
