Amazing Transformation Of The Old And Worn-Out Chair: Super Stylish And Budget-Friendly Result!

When I looked at this chair, I realized that while it was still in decent shape, the upholstery had definitely seen better days—likely thanks to some curious cats at home. We decided to give this chair a fresh start.

First, we carefully disassembled it and removed the old fabric, keeping it as a reference. Next, we stripped away the worn-out foam and webbing, taking photos of each step so we’d remember how to put it back together.

To my surprise, the chair’s frame was made of solid beechwood rather than the usual pine. All the wooden parts were in good condition, except for one leg that had a crack. We glued it, allowing a full day for it to dry.

Using fresh foam and batting, we rebuilt the seat foundation. The old fabric served as a template for the new upholstery, to which I added a few extra centimeters due to the increased foam thickness.

Once the cushioning was complete, we moved on to the wood. We treated and sanded the surfaces to bring out their natural beauty.

With all parts back together, the chair was finally ready for its new place in the home.
