The Private Benjamin star was all smiles as she arrived at a New York studio, greeted photographers and fans warmly. She accessorized with a small black handbag and a chunky ring. Goldie was there for an appearance on Good Morning America to discuss her MindUP Foundation, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Talking about her inspiration behind starting the foundation, Goldie shared her thoughts: “Why aren’t children taught about their brains? We ask them to use it every day, but never explain how it works. That’s our focus in our program.”

Her visit followed her candid comments about why she and longtime partner Kurt Russell have chosen not to marry.

She explained, “Marriages often end in unpleasantness. Someone needs to ask, ‘How many divorces are enjoyable? How many don’t lead to more resentment? How many divorces don’t cause pain to children?’ Relationships are challenging, and they aren’t always smooth sailing.”
