Famed Hollywood actor and director Mel Gibson made a rare public appearance recently, accompanied by his 14-year-old daughter from his relationship with Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva Gibson, who tends to keep a low profile, was spotted while promoting his latest horror film *Summer of Monsters*. At the star-studded premiere in Los Angeles, he stepped out with two of his children—his 14-year-old daughter Lucia, born from his relationship with Grigorieva, and his 7-year-old son Lars, whom he shares with Rosalind Ross.

For the event, Mel donned a classic dark navy blazer, crisp white shirt, and casual jeans. Lucia, on the other hand, opted for a striking red dress paired with gold heels and a matching clutch, while young Lars was smartly dressed in a white shirt and black trousers.

It’s worth noting that Mel’s relationship with Oksana Grigorieva lasted just about a year, ending in a highly publicized and tumultuous split before their daughter even turned one. Grigorieva accused Gibson of domestic abuse and even alleged an attempt on her life. Meanwhile, the actor countered by filing for custody of their daughter, Lucia.

In addition to his daughter with Grigorieva, Gibson is the proud father of eight more children. His first marriage to Robyn Moore brought him seven kids—daughter Hannah and six sons: Edward, Christian, William, Louis, Milo, and Thomas. And with his current partner, Rosalind Ross, he is raising 7-year-old Lars.
