Daniel Craig and his wife Rachel Weisz arrived in Italy ahead of the premiere of the drama “Strange” at the Venice Film Festival.

Craig’s new look left some fans momentarily confused – he’s grown out his hair and sports a scruffy beard. Fans didn’t seem to appreciate Daniel’s transformation: “It’s amazing how much a haircut can change a person,” “He looks better with shorter hair,” and “Sorry, but the hair is terrible.”

However, the 56-year-old Craig appears perfectly content with his new style. In Venice, the actor, who played James Bond for 15 years, was seen tightly holding his wife’s hand, paying no mind to the persistent paparazzi.

The star-studded couple arrived in Italy with their six-year-old daughter, who was accompanied by a nanny. Craig also has a 32-year-old daughter, Ella, from his first marriage to actress Fiona Loudon.
