Chris O’Donnell, widely recognized for his role in “NCIS: Los Angeles,” has been a fixture in Hollywood since his debut in the 1990s.

Raised with strong family values, O’Donnell’s decision to marry his girlfriend, Caroline Frentess, was influenced by the principles instilled by his parents, which he now imparts to their five children.

Their relationship blossomed after a chance encounter in the apartment complex they both shared. Despite an initial spark, they didn’t reconnect until three years later when O’Donnell enlisted the help of a mutual friend to rekindle their connection.

Married in April 1997 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, O’Donnell and Caroline embarked on a journey of parenthood, welcoming five children into their lives. Despite opportunities for Hollywood stardom after his role in “Batman,” O’Donnell prioritized his family over movie offers, opting for a more traditional family life over a playboy lifestyle.

Caroline, an elementary school teacher, was drawn to O’Donnell’s nurturing nature, seeing him interact with his nieces and nephews. Becoming a father further strengthened O’Donnell’s resolve, despite his initial discomfort with medical situations.

Their children have followed in their footsteps, with daughter Maeve joining her mother in a television appearance, and eldest daughter Lily and son Charlie making guest appearances alongside their father on “NCIS: Los Angeles.”

Charlie, in particular, has ventured into acting, appearing in both television and film roles.
