The late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, was a father to three children: Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson. Paris and Prince were born to his ex-wife, Deborah Rowe, while Blanket was welcomed via a surrogate.

Unfortunately, when Michael passed away, his children were still quite young, with the eldest being 12 and 11 and the youngest only seven. After Michael’s death, their grandmother and matriarch of the Jackson family, Katherine Jackson, was granted temporary co-guardianship over them.

Despite Rowe being the mother of the two eldest kids, she couldn’t be located at the time, leading to Katherine’s guardianship. Family sources mentioned that Paris, Prince, and Blanket continued to live at the family’s San Fernando Valley compound after their father’s passing.

In 2017, it was reported that Katherine surrendered her co-guardianship of 15-year-old Blanket. Court documents revealed that the 93-year-old transferred sole legal guardianship to Blanket’s older cousin, Tito “TJ” Jackson, who was 39 at the time.

Blanket, known for the infamous Berlin balcony incident during which he was dangled with a cover over his face above fans at three stories high, is now 21.

Recently, he was spotted looking all grown up during a trip to Barnes & Noble in Calabasas. Dressed in casual wear with a beard, mustache, and longer hair, Blanket browsed the movie and television section.

His appearance showcased a more mature look, and observers noted his comfortable demeanor.

After being seen with his brother in Las Vegas to celebrate their father’s 65th birthday, attending the “Michael Jackson One” Cirque du Soleil show, Blanket seems to be gradually stepping into the public eye, maintaining a low profile while embracing adulthood.
