An American woman spent 34 years searching for her father and finally found him with the help of a DNA test and an Instagram photo. She instantly recognized him and felt a strong connection.

Alicia Warren, a girl from Salt Lake City, grew up without knowing her father but always wondered about him and hoped to meet him someday.

As she got older, Alicia became more curious and decided to ask her mother, Betty, about her father. Betty revealed that she had a brief encounter with a submarine officer while on vacation on Guana Island.

They spent a few days together, but they didn’t exchange contact information.

Betty later discovered she was pregnant but couldn’t find a way to reach out to the father. At the age of 34, Alicia was determined to find her father, even though her mother had no information about him.

Alicia searched for her father online and found him on Instagram. When she saw his picture, she knew immediately that he was her father because they looked exactly alike. She hesitated to contact him at first, but she felt compelled to do so.

Her father, Peter, was surprised to learn about his long-lost daughter. He had no idea she existed. They finally met on June 6 and instantly connected as if they had known each other all their lives.

Now, the newfound family plans to meet regularly and build a relationship. Alicia is grateful to her father for accepting her for who she is.
