The 2 years old poor dog Kayak was found floating down a Texas river im a cardboard box by a good-natured man. He immediately called the shelter Austin Pets Alive and the staff immediately arrived at the spot to rescue the abandoned and lonely pup who was at the edge of death.

The vets discovered that Kayak had canine parvovirus that can often be life threatening if left untreated. So the workers began to give him all the needed medication and bring him to life again. Though the miserable dog passed through the horrible and reallly difficult weeks he gained health and strength and was ready to be adopted and start new life.

And so that bright day came shrotly after his hard past. A kind woman and her 3 years old girl wanted to take a sweet dog from the shelter and Kayak was the one was behaved himself so calmly and gently. He even didn’t bark and stayed rested when the little girl petted him softly. So she fell in love with him and they took him to their house. It was the happiest day for Kayak was was just thrown away and had no hope of surviving.

Now Kayak is feeling adorable in his new surroundings. He doesn’t like baths maybe because of his tragic experience in the river. And he truely is a great hero to pass through such a dramatic pass but now he has overcome all the difficulties and gained a nice opportunity to live properly.

The woman and her daughter do their best to give him love and care he deserves. And Kayak is highly grateful to them for taking him and giving him a better life.
