The good-natured woman became a heroine for the stray dog who needed help
The 2 years old Fergie was abandoned in the woods and had no hope of surviving on her own. But a good-natured man noticed her and called Stray Rescue of St. Louis for help. And the chief life saving officer Donna Lochmann rushed to the spot for help. She noticed the poor animal hiding under the bushes and realized it would be really hard to gain her trust. Fergie also wasn’t sure if the woman was trustful or not during their first encounter so she just started to growl at Donna being scared and confused.
But the experienced rescuer mastered all the strategies and she firmly decided to save the poor creature from that terrible state. When the dog wanted to move, the woman noticed that her front right leg was injured. Donna tried her best to lure the needed pup and to take her to the shelter. And she finally managed due to her great experience, she was speaking softly with the lonely dog who was listening her calmly and eventually surrendered her being exhausted from her awful life.
After placing her to the car, Donna immediately took the sweet animal to the vet where her injury was checked, and it turned out that she also had a parvovirus. So Fergie started to get serious treatment and gain health. And though she have a long way of rehabilitation process, she is safe and protected. And now she is in the right place for her. All the love and care she gets from the staff is a real supprot and joy for her to start a new life.
