The group of tiny opossums were left alone in this big world when their mom sadly passed away. The newborn babies had no chance to survive until a kind woman noticed them and decided to help. The poor babies were so weak and helpless. But thanks to the great animal lover they were saved.

The devoted woman Stephanie took them to her house to warm and care for them. It was going to be hard for her to look after all of them and feed them but she never had thought about her nice assistant who stepped in and wanted to help her. It was her adorable dog Pretinha who immediately took the babies under her wings when she met them.

The dog’s maternal insincts aroused and she did her best to protect the sweet creatures and make them comfortable. She was licking and warming them like her own babies. So due to the good-natured woman and her incredibly caring pet the little opossums overcame all the difficulties and grew healthy and strong.

For the tiny animals Pretinha was their mom who was with them everywhere they go. They even sat on her back when she went for walking and they enjoyed the whole time together. The adorable dog was thrilled to take the role of mother for these wonderful creatures.

When the lovely opossums are enough grown Stephanie hopes they will go back into the wild. But seeing this amazing relationship between them and their adoptive mom, it is really difficult to believe that they will leave her.
