Like humans, animals also have souls and feelings, especially mothers who have maternal instincts to protect and care for their babies. And when the danger is close they get worried and stressful about their children.

This happened to the lovely horse Queen Uniek who was going to give birth to her little baby. But she was feeling that something was wrong with her. Her owner Yvonne stood next to her to comfort and look after her. After an hour Uniek laboured but unfortunately her baby wasn’t breathing. The vets who helped the horse to give birth were trying their best to revive the little creature but they couldn’t. The sweet animal couldn’t survive.

The depressed horse was licking her child and sorrowfully and this heartbreaking scene really touched the woman and others there. They took the baby out of the enclosure while Yvonne stayed with Uniek to pet her and make her feel comforted and rested.

Suddenly an unexpected and hapoy news came from one of the friends of the woman telling that they had an orphaned foal under their care. It was bright information for the woman who wanted to do some kind thing for her lovely animal. Yvonne thought that this would be a great chance for her to be relieved her pain.

Though the owner wasn’t sure how Uniek would react the orphaned baby, she believed that this would be a perfect solution to her grief. So they went to bring the baby and they were excited to witness their first meeting. Uniek had lost her son and this little creature was abandoned. The two really needed each other.

Their first interaction was promising. The mare and foal sniffed each other and then cuddled and kissed like they were real mother and son. It was a special moment. They acted so warmly and lovely. The woman thrilled to see them happy and comfortable together. Uniek began to treat the baby horse with great attention and love. She adopted him gently and lovingly. She was following her child everywhere and was watching her attentively. She was extremely protective towards the little one.

The tiny creature felt herself the happiest in the world as he had the most wonderful and caring mother ever. Uniek, on the other side, behaved like a real mother who was sweet and generous to her nice baby.
