Woman turned this abandoned public toilet into a luxury home!

Laura Clark is an architect from England. In 2005, Laura graduated from Glasgow School of Art and then moved to London to work. One day, while walking around the city, a woman accidentally stumbled upon an old and abandoned public toilet.

Of course, not everyone is impressed by a room of this format, but ideas and options began to appear in Laura’s head, what can be done to make this abandoned place better and at least useful.

Today we will tell you about a very purposeful girl who believed in herself and did incredible job, while the rest considered her crazy.

The woman bought the room of the public toilet. Its main feature was that it was quite old, built in 1929. But it has not been functioning since 1980.

For 30 years, this place has turned into a trash can and dump of unnecessary things. The walls and ceiling of the room were falling apart because of the humidity and oldness.

She did most of the work herself: demolition of partitions, erection of new ones, installation of electrical wiring, painting of walls, etc.

The work began in 2011 and lasted 5 years. What once seemed an impossible dream has become a reality in 2016.

Is it possible to believe that this nice kitchen once used to a public toilet?

This is a living-room.

The bedroom is undoubtedly good!

This is a bathroom.

The entrance to Laura’s new apartment looks pretty good. It is neat, modern, and even in the spirit of the surrounding architecture. So you won’t immediately guess that this door leads to someone’s home.

The woman really did a good job, of course, not everyone will like her creation, but for her this is a dream house!
