Tom Cruise’s two wives—Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes—are well known to many. However, before those marriages, the Mission: Impossible star was married to actress Mimi Rogers, who was six years older than him. They met in 1986 when Tom was 23, and by then, Mimi had already been through a divorce.

The couple began dating but kept their relationship low-key. When they decided to marry in 1987, only two people attended their secret wedding. Tom and Mimi worked hard to keep their union under wraps due to Cruise’s skyrocketing fame.
