Vanessa Paradis gained  popularity at a young age thanks to her magical voice and incredible appearance. She recently celebrated her 48th birthday. Let’s remember how incredible she was in her youth and look at her early photos.

Vanessa was born in December ’72. Her father was a designer and her mother was a housewife. The family had  two children – Paradis herself and her younger sister Alison, who later pursued career in arts

Vanessa started singing at an early age. She loved both music and dancing.. At the age of 14, she sang the hit “Joe e taxi”, and a year later her first album was released,  which brought her recognition outside of France. Early fame and love for the musician Florent Pagni turned her into a very mature woman.

The songs for her second album were written by Serge Gainsbourg, who had a great influence on Vanesa’s professionalism. Her film career  began at the age of 17. She casted a role the film “White Wedding”, which brought even more publicity, but this fame was ambiguous due to erotic scenes present in the film. Vanessa gained the Cesar Award for this role.

Vanessa needed money to record new albums.  And this is when she signed an advertising contract with Chanel. The proceeds were enough to buy an apartment in New York, as well as to record an English-language album.

Everything was great. New albums were recorded, commercials featuring Vanessa were released. She also tried to act in films 7 years after the release of the first tape with her participation. She was given a role in the film “Elise”, in which she worked with Gerard Depardieu. In general, Vanessa’s portfolio has a lot of successful projects that the audience really likes.

She met her  future civil husband, Johnny Depp,  in a French restaurant. He came to Paris in 1998 on work.

“Before meeting Johnny, I felt some kind of depression and despondency. My career developed well, but in my personal life there was nothing interesting. I dreamed that I would meet a man with whom I could spend my whole life. I realized that I could not live only for myself. And my prayers were answered” says Vanessa.

Vanessa gave birth to two children: daughter Lily-Rose and son Jack Christopher. The actors looked very good together, but their relationship ended in 2012. Despite everything, they were able to maintain friendly relations.

The second husband of Paradis was director Samuel Benshetri. She met him while filming The Dog.

Her  portfolio currently includes about 20 film roles, as well as more than 10 music albums. She is still doing what she loves, going to concerts and occasionally acting in films. Her children are already adults, everything is in order with family life. And no matter how old Vanessa is, she  still looks beautiful and incredible.
