Unremarkable chairs purchased from an online marketplace have found new life thanks to the meticulous efforts of today’s story’s heroine.

The young woman completely disassembled the chairs, meticulously cleaning each component and removing the old upholstery.

The layer of varnish was easily stripped away using a solvent and sanding. All the chips and cracks were filled with putty.

The chairs were then stained and finished with oil and hard wax, while the seat upholstery was padded with foam, synthetic batting, and fabric.

The outcome exceeded all expectations: the once-plain chairs transformed into stylish and functional pieces of interior decor.
