When Nyadak, better known as Duckie, was only 17, she won Australia’s Next Top Model competition. Yet, despite achieving such a remarkable feat at a young age, fame didn’t immediately follow. Instead, Duckie became the target of relentless online bullying, with people mocking her flawless proportions, striking skin tone, and natural hair.

In 2016, Duckie opened up in an interview with Teen Vogue, sharing her struggles: “It was really tough for me. I fell into depression because of the constant insults. I just couldn’t understand why people treated me that way.”
