Brothers Kenny, Kenneth, and Kevin Dancy, along with friend Andrew Daniels became the heroes of their town.

The boys were helping a woman move when they saw something that shocked all of them.

They came across an abandoned dog, that was scared, freezing, and shivering.

The boys knew that they had to help the poor dog. They named her Sparkle.
Fate was on their side and they met some local rescuers.

The neighbors tell that the boys were very protective of the dog and made sure that she made it safe whenever she went.

The four received widespread praise for their compassion.
