Well, do you imagine a moment with a wild cheetah? Maybe your body and heart feel a great fear. But this adventurous experience was really adorable for the wildlife photographer Dolph C. Volker who had a deeper affection towards animals after losing his dog.

He decided to volunteer at the Running Wild Cheetah Conservation in South Africa where he spent his vacation days. He was so amazed and happy to meet so many wild cats and be surrounded with them. These impressive creatures can seem dangerous but they have a kind heart.

Dolph was first scared of coming close to them but then he got used to their friendly nature and became great friend with them. He was caring for them and nursing them with great devotion and willingness. And the cheetahs also treated him with kindness and love.

One of them named Eden was the most compassionate to be with Dolph. She found comfort and protection with him. So once, when the man was sleeping under a tree, Eden approached him calmly and lied next to him hugging him softly. This was the most touching and lovely scene in the man’s life. He was so impressed and warmed by the nice animal’s act. And he let her also lick him. They were cuddling each other so gently and warmly.

The man confessed that he didn’t know cheetahs were so generous and sweet creatures. He gained a strong and lovely friendship and one of the unforgettable days in his life.
