Before the 2014 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, American figure skating champion Jason Brown, along with his coach and choreographer, started brainstorming a new performance program.

When his team suggested he perform his free skate to “Reel Around The Sun” from Riverdance, Jason thought they had lost their minds!

However, this decision turned out to be a stroke of genius. The audience was mesmerized by the performance, reacting with excitement and awe to every element!

All eyes were on Jason and his skating. Given that Riverdance is a step show, you can imagine the challenge of interpreting it on ice. Jason executed his program flawlessly, and even before he finished, the audience began applauding the talented skater.
