Every canine is known for the incredible feature of defending its family and surroundings. But this amazing creature Jakey found an extraordinary thing to guard and protect.

She is so attentive to the family’s bread when they are out of house. Katrina Frank, Jakey’s owner, states that she gained this habbit at the age of 4 and at first the family members were amazed to notice that she was searching for the bread and hiding it.

And when they are going out she keeps it from other animals in the house and is sure no one takes it. All this time of guarding bread she has never stolen a bite. She likes to put it behind the coach and lay by it. She thinks it is the most important thing to protect as it is used so often.

When Katrina returns to house Jakey leads her to the bread in a guilty manner. And the woman knows all her tricks and is sure that soon the bread will appear. If the family is short of bread Jakey searches for an alternative such as butter. So they are sure that their food is safe as Jakey is around.
