“Such A Good Job”: A Skillful Girl Built A Wonderful 140 sq ft Dream House On Her Own And Showed Off Its Photos!

While enrolled in a course on organic farming and sustainable living, Paula Eden resided in a compact mobile home situated in the countryside. Upon completing her studies, she decided to turn her dream of owning her own mini-home into reality. After careful consideration of design and layout, Paula crafted a cozy 13m² dwelling where everything is conveniently within reach.

Inspired by the traditional Swedish cottage’s iconic red hue, Paula used it as a blueprint for her own cottage. Embracing sustainability, she extensively utilized natural and recycled materials, steering clear of plastic and aluminum.

Utilizing the frame of an old trailer, Paula enlisted the help of her father, a skilled woodworker, and others experienced in building small houses.

Driven by her passion for interior design, Paula prioritized aesthetics over practicality, a departure from the norm in the realm of mini houses.

Situated amidst the forests and lakes of the Småland countryside, the finished house reflects Paula’s commitment to harmony with nature.

Upon completing the primary construction, Paula turned her attention to decoration, opting for an earthy green color scheme using linen paint and traditional Swedish wallpaper. The interior boasts essential amenities, including a seating area, table, and chairs.

Living off the grid, Paula relies on a wood cooker for both cooking and heating, collects rainwater for washing, and obtains drinking water from a nearby farm.

Solar panels provide light and charge her devices, while extra storage space under the ceiling and a small loft for sleeping optimize the compact layout.

Paula’s unique mobile home and her ingenuity are truly admirable.

Could you envision yourself living in such a space?
