In America there are houses for the homeless where you can live for free, but with certain rules

California is known as a sunny and wealthy state. But besides Hollywood and the Kremlin Valley, there is also not so positive side of life – poverty and homeless people.

The city of San Jose built a real residential complex “Bridge Housing Community” (BHC) for people in need. More than 300 thousand dollars were spent on this complex from the city budget. There are 40 small houses and one large one that acts as a club house. Thanks to this complex, the number of homeless people will decrease significantly and they will have the opportunity to have a shelter and live in normal conditions.

These houses are not big, but cozy and have all the necessary conditions for life. Their size is only 7 square meters. Separately, of course, there is a bathroom with shower and toilet. Quite excellent living conditions! Even air conditioners are provided in the rooms. All furniture and bedding are also included.

The large club house has a dining room, laundry, dryer, computer room with Internet access. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils.

There is no need to pay for living in the Bridge Housing Community, even food is brought here for free. However, in order to live in this complex, residents must follow certain rules. The main rules are the follows:

  1. Everyone who wants to settle in the houses should not have bad habits (smoke, use drugs, and etc.)
  2. Residents of the complex should work
  3. It is forbidden to leave the complex after 10 pm
  4. It will not be possible to enter the territory after 10 pm either
  5. It is also not allowed to drive guests at night.

All these requirements are not difficult and quite feasible. The authorities of San José help people to take a good path in life and escape from poverty.
