The most bitter divorce of the year ended with the fact that the couple’s lawyers managed to come to conclusion: Heard’s insurance company would pay Depp $1 million. Meantime, the actress was free in what she can talk about in connection with this case, she did not admit her guilt.

The cruel legal battle began with the Heard’s announcement that she was a victim of domestic violence during the time of the marriage with the worldwide actor. The court in London defended her rights but the second case in Verginia finished with Depp’s favor.

In her public announcement, Heard said that her life has been devastated by court cases. She noted that she had lost all faith in the American legal system’s justice, comparing it with the British. According to Amber, her former husband won the trial due to his popularity and power.

Having already sold her Los Angeles house to pay for her lawsuit, she didn’t want to endanger everything left. “I have solved this after losing faith in the American legal system, where my unprotected testimony served as entertainment and social media fodder,” Heard added.
