Famous at his little age: 13-year-old Walter Russell III became the youngest Grammy winner
At the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony, not a singer, but an actor became the youngest winner. We are talking about 13-year-old Walter Russell III. He received the coveted statuette in the nomination “Best Opera Recording” for the composition “Blanchard: Fire Shut Up in My Bones”. Someone will remember that Michael Jackson received a nomination at a younger age – at 12 years old, but he never became the winner.
At the awards ceremony, Walter wore a bright yellow three-piece suit with a black shirt and bow tie. He looked perfectly happy. In fact, he received two nominations, the second being “Best Musical Theater Album” for his role in the musical MJ, where the boy played a young Michael Jackson. But he received the award precisely as a performer of the opera.
The young man leads social networks and admits that his favorite motto in life is a quote from Michelle Obama: “Just try something new. Don’t be afraid. Get out of your comfort zone and soar, okay?”
Do you like the talent and charm of the young boy? Does he deserve his amazing awards?
