Julia Roberts was recently spotted out and about in New York City with two of her children, highlighting the noticeable growth spurt of her youngest son. The Oscar winner was photographed exiting the historic Jane Hotel on Friday with her son Henry, who had just turned 19 the previous day. Standing significantly taller than his movie-star mom, Henry’s striking stature was a standout feature of their afternoon excursion.

The actress exuded a chic yet casual vibe, wearing a sharp black suit paired with a timeless pearl necklace and eyeglasses. Displaying a warm and upbeat mood, she conversed easily with her family, at one point tenderly wrapping her arm around Henry’s waist as they strolled down the street.

Rounding out the group was Roberts’ 21-year-old daughter, Hazel, alongside the star’s trusted, long-term hairstylist, Serge Normant. Henry is currently a student at Manhattan’s Pratt Institute, whereas Hazel is completing her studies abroad at Trinity College Dublin.

Not present for the city outing were Hazel’s twin brother, Phinnaeus, who goes to UC Berkeley, and Roberts’ cinematographer husband, Danny Moder. Henry holds the title of the youngest child in the family. Roberts and Moder have been wed since 2002.

While the Hollywood star generally shields her personal life from the public eye, she does sometimes post sweet family milestones on Instagram. This past November, she marked Hazel and Phinnaeus’ 21st birthday by uploading a throwback picture of the twins as toddlers in high chairs. Marveling at how fast the years fly by, Roberts called her children her life’s biggest transformation while sending them birthday wishes.

Moder has similarly given followers a peek into their tight-knit domestic life. For Mother’s Day in May 2025, he shared a snapshot of Roberts alongside their adult kids, adding a touching message that honored mothers and declared his deep affection for their family unit.

In a 2022 chat on CBS Sunday Morning, Roberts opened up about her core values. Though she views her thriving Hollywood career as a dream come true, she emphasized that her ultimate joy stems from the home life she shares with Moder. For her, winding down at home with her husband and kids remains her most fulfilling achievement.
