Dog Makes It Through Three Weeks With His Head Inside A Jar Before An Angel Appearance
Dogs that are forced to live on the streets must use some quite drastic measures to survive. They eat rubbish and drink from gutters, puddles, and any other available sources. They’re frequently cold, dirty, and terrified.
The challenge is heightened when a dog is ill or has another handicap, like this Labrador who suffered for three weeks after placing his head in a plastic jar.
He may have been able to get his head into the big jar when he found it, perhaps while looking for something to eat, but he was unable to pull it out.
He remained in that position for three weeks before being discovered by a rescuer called Greg.
The man who saved him rested his knee on top of the dog to keep him quiet while he cut through the jar’s side, but the jar remained stuck.
“I’m trying to cut a small hole to let some air in. It needs to be carried and loaded onto the bed of my truck.
Off-camera, a woman said:
Baby, I’m OK! It’s okay. Honey, you’re protected! Please take him to the doctor. I’ll help with the pickup.
The people who found him were amazed that he had survived for so long without access to food and water. He must have gotten water by going to a nearby lake and drinking what he could with the flask, they believed.
He was rushed to the vet, where the jar was eventually removed and he was attended to. He was known as “Cheeto.”
