Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek, aged 57, recently shared a precious photo featuring her only daughter, Valentina. The renowned actress posted the family snapshot on Instagram, where she boasts over 28 million followers. Valentina Paloma Pinault, now 16 years old, appeared as a toddler in the photo, cradled in her star mother’s arms.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers – whether you’re raising children, cherishing fur babies, expecting a little one, or remembering those who are no longer with us. Today, we honor every aspect of motherhood,” Salma Hayek penned in the caption.

Valentina is the daughter of the actress and François-Henri Pinault, the CEO of Kering, a French billionaire. She is Salma’s first child, while François-Henri has children from previous relationships. With supermodel Linda Evangelista, he shares a son named Augustin, and with designer Dorothea Leper, he has a daughter, Mathilde, and a son, François. Salma maintains a good relationship with them.

Salma and the French billionaire tied the knot in 2009, exchanging vows in the historic La Fenice opera house in Venice, one of Europe’s oldest. The wedding ceremony was attended by François-Henri’s children from his first marriage to Dorothea Leper.

In a special tribute on Mother’s Day 2024, the actress also shared a rare photo with her own mother, opera singer Diana Jimenez Medina.

“I’m incredibly grateful to still have the privilege of sharing moments with my mother,” Salma expressed in her heartfelt post.
