James Cameron’s “Titanic”  is truly a legendary movie.  The film has won 11 Oscars and endless love of millions around the world. It’s impossible to watch the film without tears, even if you’ve watched it ten times already. And it’s even more interesting to see what was behind the scenes.

The filming took place in the 90’s, and at that time there were limited special effects and poor graphics. Therefore, expensive sceneries were tailored made and graphics were minimally used.

Cameron is known as a film director who has strict requirements and often interferes the scenes of his own films.

He always stays side by side with the actors, controls their movements, gestures, looks and even the position of hands on set. James is indeed a perfectionist. Many scenes were filmed in the water for Titanic. And the water was indeed icy by the requirement of Cameron.  After, the actors were allowed to warmed themselves up in the pool just not to get sick.

Although the film itself is drama,  actors remember rather friendly and positive atmosphere on the set.
