A woman named Juana Muñez was forced to stay in isolation for 13 years, but very close to her family, literally a few centimeters from them. But the thing is, she couldn’t hug and kiss them. After all, if she leaves the shelter, she will die. In order to be able to touch her twice a year, her family undergoes special training. In the life of this Spanish woman, everything was fine, but 30 years ago, when she had just had a child, everything changed. Something tragic happened, she had a severe allergy attack. Her whole body was swollen and she suffered with a huge pain.

It was from that moment that the body of this woman became very vulnerable to chemicals. Soon she began to weaken so that she couldn’t even touch any objects, as this caused her injury. It turned out that if the woman didn’t live a special isolated place which would be sterile and clean, then she would continuely feel pain. Upon learning of this, her family built that space for her. There she has spent all her time for the past 13 years.

Everything that is connected with chemistry, any pungent smell can suffocate her. Even natural phenomena, such as the sun, wind, rain – everything in this case is associated with pain. All her clothes must be strictly made of cotton, and household items made of ceramics. Juana can only get out of there once for a routine checkup, and not every year. In order not to harm the woman in any way and to be able to be close to her sometimes, the family keeps a strict diet for several days, carefully clean themselves and their clothes.
