A Photographer Of Old Abandoned Houses Came Across A House Where Time Stopped Still In The Last Century: What Was The Only Way To Get To The House And What Did It Look Like?

Britt Marie Bye, a photographer hailing from Oslo, Norway, has dedicated several years to traveling the globe and capturing the essence of abandoned, solitary houses.

One such desolate abode stands on an island in northern Norway, nestled near the frigid Norwegian Sea and encircled by towering mountains.

Constructed with a grand facade overlooking the ocean, the deserted house stands in a fishing village reachable solely by sea.

Every room had an obligatory cooker. This room was only used for special occasions and the cooker was rarely lit.

This is the bedroom where the doctor used to receive his patients when he came to the village.
