“A Man Turned a Cave into His Dream Luxury Home”: What Does It Look Like Inside?
Every child has their own dreams, whether it’s becoming an astronaut or building a treehouse. Today’s hero had a unique aspiration: he dreamed of creating a life inside a cave, and he made it happen!
Angelo Mastropietro invested over £160,000 to transform a cave that is more than 250 million years old into a cozy and comfortable home.
Before embarking on this journey, he worked as the head of an Australian recruitment company. However, the stress of his job and the monotony of daily life weighed heavily on him. To complicate matters, Angelo was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, prompting him to seek a healthier and cleaner environment away from society, while still staying connected.
He spent his childhood in Worcestershire, where an enormous, ancient cave stood—once inhabited in the 1940s, it had long been abandoned.
Determined to pursue his dream, the father of two took a leap of faith. Angelo purchased the derelict cave for £62,000 and set about designing and planning his new home!
The walls of his cave house are painted white, creating a stunning contrast with modern decor elements, all while maintaining the cave’s natural ambiance. The result is truly mesmerizing!
