Imagine a tale of whimsy and determination! At the age of 90, an elderly man embarked on a remarkable journey to bring the fantasy world of “The Hobbit” to life. Inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s enchanting book, he decided to create his own Hobbit home.

Upon retiring, he set out to transform his plot of land into a unique dwelling reminiscent of the charming hobbit houses in fairy tales. There was, however, a tiny challenge – the house was designed for individuals under 160 cm in height.

Luckily, the 90-year-old builder himself was not particularly tall, making the outcome absolutely perfect for him. Today, people from various nations make a pilgrimage to witness and sometimes even stay in this extraordinary home.

The house boasts a distinctive door reminiscent of those in the Hobbit movie, crafted from a blend of stone and wood. Every detail inside, down to the toilet, reflects the whimsical style of the film.

A cozy fireplace graces the interior, providing warmth throughout the house. Both the exterior and interior captivate visitors with their elegance and comfort.
