Mr. Bean, played by Rowan Atkinson, can be called the masterpiece of the British sitcom. But unfortunately, the fantastic actor became the lifelong victim of his comedic image.

If the name “Mr. Bean” is on everyone’s lips, then the mass audience will hardly remember the performer of the cult role. The comedy was released in the early 90s, and soon the right to show was bought in more than 200 countries. In just a couple of years, the character gained phenomenal status. Alas, for all the long years of his career, Atkinson never managed to get out of his famous role.

Rowan has been exploiting the image of Mr. Bean for many years. But it was more of a forced measure. The directors flatly refused to see other sides of talent in the actor and regularly invited him to the roles of the same type of heroes. A striking example is the “Johnny English” franchise, where the artist appeared in a similar role.

Today, 67-year-old Atkinson no longer looks like that legendary character. He turned gray, changed completely and got deep wrinkles. And this is not surprising, considering the specific facial expressions of the actor, as he has just became older and transformed to a different person.
